My name is Ishmael and this is the story behind The Clean Tea Company. Suffering from many food allergies & also very health conscious being a lover of all teas I realised there was a gap in the market as most teas are filled with nasty extras like additives, flavourings & preservatives to name a few so I set up my own brand hence the name “The Clean Tea Company” excluding all of those nasty surprises.
STAYING AWARE
Our teas are sourced from all over the world & formulated here in the UK. Our packaging is biodegradable, fully plant based & eco friendly.
Our tea itself is organic & the teabags are made up of a vegan friendly animal cruelty free plant based silk (PLA) which along with the packaging can be recycled. Which once used you simply place on a compost heap letting it decompose & give back to Mother Nature within 24 months.
The Clean Tea Company appeals to shoppers who actively seek and support brands practicing sustainability. Our customers have a preference for organically-sourced ingredients and recyclable packaging, willing to trade-up to a luxury price point for products that are aligned with their integrity.

Our packaging is Eco friendly biodegradable no plastic all plant based packaging the tea itself is organic & the teabags are cruelty free silk made of a corn based starch which along with the packaging can be recycled you simply place it on a compost heap once used and watch it give back to Mother Nature within 12-24 months it will turn to gas & water giving nutrients to soils & plants.
